English is being taken commonly as a course taken in school, practically within the four corners of your regular classroom as many students would put it, but what you need to realize is that, it must not be taken just that, you must understand that there is more to English that you need to understand to fully extract what it can do for you and what you can do for it.
Up close and personal, the English language is multi-disciplinary in a sense that it unites all disciplines with its method which transcends the walls of different matters, not only in the academe but also in a more global perspective.
1. It is the language by which different countries are able to communicate with each other, send messages, exchange information, and help aid in the development of one another.
2.It is the language by which learning is best expressed and promulgated, the discovery of new matters in science and technology, the findings of researchers and data banks whose data are made readily available to those who need them.
3. It is the language by which global enterprise and trading is best promoted, by simple instructions on boxes, simple guidelines, and pointers too that aid in the distribution of a country's good in a more global scale.
Those are but some of the points I would like to raise to expose the multi-disciplinary nature of the English Language. It is basically a need to study this a;;-binding factor with which we can all communicate and learn with each other, we must celebrate it as a commonality amongst us and hence, we must aid in its development and also in its promulgation amongst the societies of the world.
